Swimming Lessons

At Park Club we believe in keeping our classes small and affordable so that every child can have the chance they deserve to learn to swim. Water safety is our top priority, with safety skills incorporated into our weekly lessons, as well as our annual Water Safety Week and Rookie Lifesavers Club.

โ€œThank you so much for providing a brilliant swim school for both my girls.โ€

Children's Swimming Lessons

We believe that learning to swim should be a fun and exciting experience for children. Our children's swimming lessons are carefully designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can build water confidence, develop life-saving swimming skills and make lifelong memories.
Led by our highly experienced, certified instructors, our children's swimming lessons prioritise water safety, stroke technique, and overall aquatic competency.

We offer a variety of class levels to accommodate children aged 4 years upwards, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Following the Swim England โ€˜Learn To Swimโ€™ framework, our instructors use a combination of engaging activities and age-appropriate teaching methods to ensure that each child receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive in the water.

Rookie Lifesavers Club

Our Rookie Lifesavers Club teaches children vital water skills to keep them safe in the pool, sea, and lakes, giving you peace of mind. The programme has 3 levels which incorporate a variety of lifesaving and rescue activities, including self-help techniques and basic first aid. On average around 400 people drown in the UK every year. By educating children at an early age in our Rookie sessions and during our annual swim school Water Safety Week, we hope to help reduce that statistic.

Swim School Activities

As well as teaching Swim England Stages 1-10 we offer a variety of additional activities throughout the year including themed weeks, swimming stroke workshops, holiday intensive courses and challenge weeks.

Our regular themed weeks bring an extra element of fun to our lessons, often including an educational element too. It is scientifically proven that children learn best through play and our themes make the lessons more memorable, so children retain the things they have learned better.

Our bi-annual Challenge Weeks give every child in our swim school the opportunity to gain a distance award or personal achievement award. These give children a fantastic sense of achievement and really help to boost their confidence, motivating them to push themselves to the best of their ability.

Adult Swimming Lessons

We firmly believe you are never too old to learn to swim! We offer day time and evening lessons for adult beginner and intermediate swimmers. Our small groups sizes mean each individual can receive support and instruction tailored to their goals, alongside other adults of a similar ability.

Advanced Swimmers

Once children have passed their Stages 1-10 they can continue to enjoy swimming by joining our Swim Fit groups. Swim Fit is an hour long supervised fitness swimming session, suitable for children who wish to continue swimming but donโ€™t want to join a competitive club. Children follow a program set by the instructor each week at their own pace, with supervision and support.
