Receptionist:
I have been working for The Park club for just under 6 months as a receptionist and have had many different responsibilities and opportunities within the company to progress.
At the park club my job is to meet and greet all members that enter the club and to make sure that their experience at the club is satisfying. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them reach their fitness goals whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service.
I have experienced challenging situations and met new people that have led me to advance in my career.
Sales Manager:
As a Sales Manager for Soll, my job is to deal with all aspects of memberships for the club. This involves the sales process we go through with new customers, to managing members and business accounts, marketing and daily sales activity.
The best part of my job is meeting all the different types of people who walk through the door and hearing their stories as to why they have taken that initial step. Once they have shared that story with you, it’s always lovely to see these member in the club and hear how they are getting on with reaching their goals.
No day in the club is the same and that is one of the many reasons why I love my job!’
Administrator:
I’m the membership administrator and have worked for Soll for 2 years. I liaise with our sites and support them where it is needed as well as responding to all members; in ways we can help with their membership and improve their experience of using the gym.
I enjoy working for Soll as they have fully supported my personal and professional development, allowing me to gain qualifications and progress within the role.
Site Manager
I have worked with Soll for just over 3 years as a Site Manager. I love the variation my job brings. I have been lucky enough to be involved in many projects for the company both in clubs and with head office teams. I love the balance my job has, sometimes I will be managing our KPI’s and another time I will be working with a member on a fitness plan or working with one of our social impact groups on maybe our Let’s Talk Weight project. No 2 days are ever the same.
Fitness Consultant
I’ve worked at the gym for nearly 9 years, It wasn’t until Soll took over that I have really learnt a lot more about the running of the club and been given that opportunity. No day is the same working at the Park Club which I love as everyday is different. I am a level 2 gym instructor so I do inductions and as a duty manager I make sure everything is as it should be in the absence of the Site/Deputy Manager. From doing checks around the gym to cleaning.
I also manage the studio instructor invoicing making sure they are correct before being sent to head office. I also manage the stock and vending machine. My job can be varied which I enjoy. I also love keeping the members happy.
