Group Exercise Class Descriptions


Body Balance

The Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

Body Combat

BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 570 calories** in a class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.

Body Pump

The ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 400 calories**. Instructors will coach you through great moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own!

HIIT

A training method in which you give all out, one hundred percent effort through quick intense bursts of exercise followed by short, sometimes active recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Group Cycle

The Ultimate Indoor cycling experience taking you on a sensational journey of hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trails and interval training with music that will motivate you, move you and get you to your fitness goals.

Aerobics

Energetic physical exercises performed with a group of people to music, that make the heart, lungs, and muscles stronger.

Yard Fit

Boot camp style class using tires to add variety and fun to your workout and challenge you physically. Perfect for those sunny days outside and works the whole body!!

Pilates

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.

Zumba

The Latin inspired, easy to follow, calorie burning dance fitness party. Feel the music and let loose!! Suits all fitness levels and lots of fun!!!

LBT

LBT is a full-body aerobic toning workout that will make you work up a sweat. Designed to target common problem areas (legs, bums and tums), LBT classes will help you to build muscle and tone up. ... LBT is a full body aerobic workout that aims to tone up thighs, bum and stomach.

Senior Circuits

A workout for the whole body, tailored for the more senior member. This station based class requires little co-ordination but can achieve maximum results.

Power 45

High intensity interval training that will present fresh fitness challenges each week, including resistance, cardio vascular and core strength activities via boot camp style fat burning exercise combinations. An ideal class for anyone wishing to ramp up their overall fitness level and range of performance no matter what their starting point is.
