Becoming a Member
Can I join online?
Yes, you can join online via the 'join online' section of our website.
How old do I have to be to join?
The minimum age to join on an inclusive membership is 16. Those aged between 16 and 17 must join in club and have an adult over the age of 18 with them. The adult will be required to sign the contract.
Can I bring a guest into the club?
Yes, you can bring a guest into the club using the 'refer a friend' button on our app.
What is included in my membership?
Our standard membership includes access to the gym training areas, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and Park Club classes.
Do I need to fill out a health questionnaire when visiting?
All new customers/members visiting the club must read and sign to agree to our health and exercise readiness commitment prior to exercise.
Do I need to book an induction to use your club?
Inductions are optional but we encourage everyone to have one to ensure you know how to use the equipment safely.
Can I suspend my membership?
DD Memberships - A suspension can be applied to your membership for a maximum of up to 3 months, we will need 30 days written notice. The suspension will be subject to a £5 per month payment irrespective of whether you are still in contract or not.
Suspension period does not affect the minimum number of direct debit payments you are due to make and any payments remaining at the time of the freeze will remain due and recommence on a monthly basis once the suspension period has been completed
Whilst a membership is suspended you are unable to terminate and will need to re-instate the membership first.
Upfront Memberships - They can be suspended for up to 3 months by adding this time to the end of the membership.
The Gym/Classes
Will someone show me how to use the machines or give me a programme?
You can book an induction with one of team, who will show you how to use the equipment. We do have Personal Trainers available to help provide further support
What should I wear to the gym?
Please wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. We also advise you bring a towel and water bottle with you.

Do members have to book classes in advance?
Classes can be booked up to 48 hours in advance. Book for classes either via our app or or calling the club directly.
Where do I find the class timetable?
Please see your clubs homepage. Timetables can also be viewed in club.
Are classes included in my membership?
Yes, Park Club classes are included in your membership. For a full list of current classes please check the 'timetable' tab in the menu
I want to do The Athlete Centre's classes, how does this work?
To access TAC classes, you need to be on one of their membership options; you are then able to book these classes on our app. If you wish to try out a TAC class then they do offer free taster classes! Just contact The Athlete Centre on 07849 172607 (also on WhatsApp) or email
Personal Training
I'm interested in personal training, what do I need to do?
You can find more about our Personal Trainers through the clubs homepage or in club. Once you’ve selected a trainer whose skills best match your fitness goal, you can book and pay for a session through them directly.

Where can I park?
We offer free parking on site.
I’ve lost some property in the club, what will happen to it?
All lost property is held within the club for a limited time, please contact the club directly or visit reception regarding this.
How do I cancel my membership?
Once you are outside of your contract period, you can cancel by giving us 1 months' notice. This means that one more payment will be taken and then your membership will be cancelled. If you wish to just suspend your membership, then please get in touch with us
