Our wellbeing open week celebrates the facilities and the services that we offer and showcases our recent investment in new gym kit and the introduction of the Athlete Centre within the F.I.T Zone. 

All week we will be offering FREE access to Park Club facilities and services (excludes Athlete Centre classes and PT sessions) for all non-members to celebrate and showcase what we have to offer those living and working locally.

We will also be hosting a number of FREE activities including taster classes, nutritional talk, gym challenges, BODITRAX, a runners workshop with Flexphysio and so much more throughout the week!

All activities are free unless indicated and are open to both members and non members. Spaces are limited so please ensure you book at reception or via the app if indicated.

Monday 4 November 

Super Circuits with Carlos Brathwaite - Current Captain of the West Indies Twenty20 International Cricket team  – 12:30 - 13:30 - bookings can be made now via the app or in club. 

Carlos and his trainer Matt Bishop will host the class which will consist of an introductory talk by Carlos followed by a 40 minute circuit class. 

Tuesday 5th November - Wellness day

Didcot Counselling Service - Are you feeling anxious, stressed, sad or confused? What’s holding you back from living the life that you want for yourself? Gary Hibbins from Didcot Counselling Service is offering 30 minute appointments throughout the morning for you to understand how counselling might be able to help you and to answer any questions that you may have.

Head and shoulders massage – £5 for 15 minutes with Michaela, 10:30 – 12:30. Bookings are made at reception and payment is made direct to Michaela on the day. 

Nutrition at work – 12:30 – 13:30. Annabelle Baker will take you back to basics with her inspiring talk to help you make positive changes in your approach to food at work and help you to improve energy levels. bookings can be made now via the app.

BODITRAX –  15 minute heath check appointments available all day

Camo Santa Run registration – 5k Camo Santa Run, Friday 13th December. The team will be on hand all day to answer any questions and to guide you through the simple online registration process. 

Wednesday 6th November – Running and Triathlon focus

Runners workshop –12:30 – 13:30 The Flex Physio team will present theories and solutions on how to prevent injuries when running. Bookings can be made now via the app or in club.

Tri-swim – 17:00 – 19:00 Tri-swim will be available in the gym during this time giving tips and advice on good running and cycling techniques and answering any questions you may have re your training. Booking not required, just pop in and say hello.

Thursday 6th November – The Athlete Centre

Athlete Centre classes are open to all members and non-members. Come and try out one of these strength specialist classes and speak to the team to find out more or visit their website www.theathletecentre.com/about

Technique workshops - PT Luke Bolderston will be in the gym to run demonstrations and check form on the new Hammer Strength machines, Squat racks and Deadlift platform. If you would like to learn more why not come along to one of his sessions? 09:00 - 10:00 - Hammer Strength machines, 16:00 - 17:00 and 17:00 - 18:00 - Squat racks and Deadlift platform. No need to book - just come along

Friday 8th November – It's all about networking...and a free breakfast!

Corporate wellness networking breakfast – A great opportunity to meet the local businesses community in an informal and relaxed atmosphere over complimentary buffet breakfast. Register with Eventbrite to get your ticket.

Sofea will be providing the breakfast on the day. Sofea’s mission statement - Education and access to quality food are basic human rights. Yumballs – @louskitchen - If you haven’t tried Lous Yumballs yet, now’s your chance. Lou will be on hand to answer any questions and will have samples of her Almond Apricot Chia and Nutty Cranberry Choc. For you to try.

Body weight accumulator - 12pm on the Mezzanine with Cara. Looking for a short burst of exercise during your lunch break? Come along to Cara's 20 minute class involving both cardiovasular fitness and strength training. No need to book, just come along.
